Saturday, March 6 has been an interesting day with regard to the observation of contrails d 'plane to Milan. In today's post we see some photos of airliners in flight in Milan and a brief analysis of atmospheric data of the day, featuring from non-persistent contrails.
start with photographs of the aircraft. Lufthansa Airbus A321
Swiss International Airlines Airbus A320 HB-IJL
Vueling Airbus A320
Rossiya Russian Airlines Airbus A319 VP-BIT
Norwegian Boeing B737-300
Transaero Boeing B767-300 EI-UNF
El Al Israel Airlines Boeing B777-200
Alitalia Airbus A319 I- BIMCO (low altitude, direction Malpensa)
Let's see a diagram of Appleman on weather data for the day:
From the graph we see that the temperature in the typical area of flight (gray area in the diagram) fall in the area always contrails. So these were the conditions for the formation of contrails at typical flight altitudes. The values of humidity, especially above 10,000 feet, were low, confirming the non-observation of persistent contrails.
The simple analysis method shown here (using a photographic camera with high-focal telephoto lens or telescope, and analysis of weather data) is used to identify aircraft contrails issue (succeeding in some cases to read the identifying marks Subala) and check the weather conditions for the formation of contrails. Anyone have any concerns about the nature of any wakes or airplanes could use this methodology to verify its doubts. The simultaneous observation of mysterious aircraft can not be identified and the presence of contrails not provided by the atmospheric data could support the doubts, and the observation of normal airliners and trails provided by the atmospheric data could be moved.
PS
Scie also Sunday, even though very few. The sky, as forecast, was covered. Only after a long day in the late afternoon, a quick fill allowed the observation of any wake.
