After days spent with alternating good and bad news about the situation on the volcanic ash cloud, on Sunday afternoon, we learn of the cancellation of our flights to Denver via London. The next morning, however, we present their respective airports: Malpensa and Nicholas I, Gloria and Marco in Venice. The bad news is, the first available flight to Denver is April 25. We book the flight, not before he asked if there were any U.S. destination places: sold out with all the companies in the world before April 25 to 26. In the afternoon Mark and Gloria go home, me and Niko remain at Malpensa. We turn all the desks All airlines asking for any vacancy to any destination USA ... nothing. Last minute call several times ... nothing.

*** On 21 April we got up early and at 6 we went to the information desk of the British Airways, the airline with whom we had the flight had been canceled. Since we had to spend another night in the airport, we decided to fly to London in the afternoon, hoping that, given the importance of London Heathrow, there was the camp for the night as Malpensa (which totally lacked Linate). So we arrive in London at 17 o'clock local time and discover that there are no camp here either ... so we spend the night on the floor ... another almost sleepless night.
